Welcome to My Peeps, operated by Me Chronicled LLC (dba My Peeps), located at 17011 Beach Blvd Ste 900, Huntington Beach, CA 92647 (“My Peeps,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the My Peeps website and app and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using My Peeps, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy (together, the “Agreement”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What My Peeps Is

My Peeps is a private, multimedia storytelling platform designed for family, not fans.

Users can create digital collections (“Collections”) or journals to store and share photos, videos, voice notes, links, and written memories with selected people (“Peeps”). You choose who can view or contribute to your content. We do not make your content public without your consent.

2. Who Can Use My Peeps

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/UK) to create your own account.

Users under 13 may only participate through a parent- or guardian-managed account.

By using My Peeps, you confirm that you have the legal right and authority to agree to these Terms.

Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising any child’s use of the Service.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

Keeping your login credentials secure.
Ensuring any content you upload belongs to you or you have the right to share it.
Updating your information to keep it accurate.

If you suspect unauthorized access, please contact us at support@themypeepsapp.com immediately.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law.

4. Your Content

You own your content. My Peeps does not claim ownership of your photos, videos, stories, or journal entries.

By uploading content, you grant My Peeps a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to:

Store your content on our servers,
Display it to the people you choose, and
Perform operations necessary to run the Service (e.g., compression, backup, encryption).

You can delete your content or your entire account at any time, and we’ll remove it from our systems as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Family, Friends, and Collaboration

When you invite “Peeps” to view or contribute to your Collections:

You control who has access and what they can do.
Collaborators must follow these Terms.
You are responsible for the content shared within your Collections.

We are not liable for how your invited users use or redistribute content once they’ve accessed it.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Upload content you don’t have the right to share.
Post anything unlawful, defamatory, or harmful.
Harass, impersonate, or mislead others.
Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service.
Use My Peeps for commercial advertising or solicitation.

We reserve the right to remove content or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Payments & Subscriptions

Some features may require payment (for example, unlocking the Life Unfiltered Journal, premium storage, or gifting a journal).

Payments are processed securely via Shopify or Adapty (in-app purchases).

All prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Refunds follow the policy of the payment processor or app store used for purchase.

You can cancel subscriptions at any time within your app store settings.

8. Intellectual Property

The My Peeps platform, design, branding, and software are the intellectual property of Me Chronicled LLC.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service except for your personal, non-commercial use within your account. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services such as Google Cloud, Shopify, Sentry, or analytics tools.

Your use of these services within My Peeps is subject to their respective terms and policies, which are incorporated by reference. We are not responsible for content, actions, or failures of these third-party services.

10. Termination

You may stop using My Peeps at any time by deleting your account.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or create legal or security risks. Upon termination, we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or availability of content. My Peeps disclaims all warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for loss of data, user content, or damages resulting from misuse, unauthorized access, or third-party failures.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

My Peeps and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; in those cases, our liability will be limited to the minimum permitted by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless My Peeps, its affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:

Your misuse of the Service,
Violation of these Terms, or
Infringement of any third-party rights.

14. International Use

We operate from the United States, but My Peeps can be used globally. Users are responsible for complying with local laws. Where data is transferred internationally (e.g., EU → US), we use Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, we’ll post the new version with an updated “Last Updated” date. Substantial changes will be notified by email or in-app alert. Continued use after the changes means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Orange County, California, unless local law requires otherwise.
